Generator Preventive Maintenance - Akiba Commercial Bank

DS Pera Limited performed scheduled preventive maintenance on standby diesel generators at three Akiba Commercial Bank branches in Dar es Salaam. Works carried out in March 2026 at Kariakoo, Buguruni, and Kijito Nyama branches included engine oil changes using Turbofleet 15W-40, and replacement of oil filters, fuel filters, and air filters using genuine Perkins Powerpart components. A 60KVA Lydian-housed Perkins generator at Kariakoo was serviced with 15 litres of engine oil. Filter elements were documented before and after replacement. Generator controllers were inspected, with the Kijito Nyama unit recording 76 run hours and 87 starts at time of service.
